hello everyone I was out on the boat yesterday and the boat was running perfectly then all of a sudden, the black clip on the top of the throttle (shifter) seems to get stuck up at the high level, meaning that I couldn't get the throttle back into neutral. I had to stop the engine and then of course I couldn't get the boat to start again, which I expected. I hadn't got a screw driver to take the panel off and inspect it so I got a tow back to the boat club however, then I took out the unit from the side panel, only to find a fully concealed unit. everything looked in working order and the actual cable and mechanism seemed to work to a point as I thought it might have been salt corrosion etc and it stiffening up has anyone had this issue before my boat is the Axis A22, 2014 (but new 2015 model) with what I seem to remember was called a Levorsi shifter? all help would be much appreciated I have a mechanic going to the boat today and while I trust him to sort it, I would really love to know if it is simple Regards Lyndon

My throttle is "loose" -have to push against the bottom of it to find neutral, dealer plans to simply replace the shifter as per instructions from Malibu
