We bought some Wet Sounds Links and love how we can link multiple boats. But my question is how do we hook them up and still use our transome remote so we don't have to get in the boat to change the songs/playlists every time? We have only figured out how to control from our phone so far. Any help or recommendations would be great. Thanks.

Myself and two other friends each have the A-Link two piece kit and we have no issues controlling songs or playlists from the transom remote from our two Axis and one Malibu

Do any of you have a WS 420? Sounds like you are also using BT possibly?

Need more information in order to help you.

The A-link is plugged into the aux "out" if your boat is the "sending" unit but how do you have your phone connected to the stereo (BT or USB cable)?

I haven't found a aux out on my boat from the factory stereo(sp3). I have only found one input jack in the glove box. I've been running the aux jack cord with a splitter one to the phone one to the a link. Any ideas AJ? Thanks.

the phone playing the music (master) should be connected to your head unit via usb cable; thus rendering the 3.5 jack useless. If you do not have an aux out on your head unit, I am pretty certain you are bent w/o purchasing additional gear (i.e. BT adapter or 420).

Hey bud, just hit me... you could save some $ and just purchase an extra long 3.5 cord and keep your phone back by the swim platform?

Just an idea.

I hadnt seen those links before. We have had an FM transmitter in the boat for over 10 years that achomplishes this same thing when rafting. Not the dinky car stereo pre-bluetooth transmitters. One like this:

Still a better cost performer at $130 for the transmitter and Zero for unlimited number of (FM) receivers. I even have a flag with the FM freqency on it. That way all the boats rafted can play the same music at a comfortable level. Spotify and others allow for a sharred playlist control.
