I want to get more bass in my boat. I currently have a custom box with a JL Audio W7 12" at the drivers foot well. I don't want to redo that spot. Has anyone had any luck with downward firing subs under the seats along the side? The seat base has the cut outs so sound could get out. Thanks for any ideas. I think the seat bases are only like 10" deep.

interested in this. I was thinking of a w7 as well for my boat. any pictures of yours? maybe advise?
