I keep out boat on a lift at the lake from May thru October in Tennessee. Love the convenience. I would never leave it sitting in the water but that's just me.

what about renting a indoor storage garage near the lake. That is what we do. we put it in for a couple of days since we have access to a slip. then pull it out and put back in covered dry storage. it has worked very well.
