When it the code comes up does the boat go into limp mode or just start beeping?

Just starts beeping. This all began the middle of last summer and has never caused it to go into limp mode. I ran another 20-30 hours with no loss of performance and gas mileage is on par too.

And the beep is now silent thanks to a pair of wire cutters. :D

A buddy of mine has a 2015 A23 that does the same thing. They haven't found a fix for his either. We just push the button on the left to stop the sound. It seemed to be an issue with the first year PCMs. I have a 2015 A22 it did it a couple of times but once the flashed the cpu it hasn't happened to me again.

Wish I had answers.

Right. The flash was to eliminate an overheating code caused by an incorrect set point (at least that's what I recall). I never had it done but the boat had 90 hours when purchased and never threw an overheating code.

Anyone know a way to disable a code from being thrown? Like tell the PCM to ignore a certain code? I know it's possible on automotive PCMs. I'd be willing to pay a dealership an hour of labor just to turn the code off. I hate having to ignore it because if there ever is a serious problem then I'm not going to be unintentionally ignoring it.

Dealers do not have the ability to do this.

That's what I suspected. Thanks for the info.
