So I just winterized the boat and removed the anodes back by the transmission for inspection and draining of antifreeze.
One of the anodes was broken off inside and the other anodes was in perfect condition.
Question -- can I leave that broken off anode or do I need to take it to the shop for an expensive teardown and removal of that broken off piece?
Thanks - Jim

If you get a small mirror to look down the hole can you see it anywhere? If so use a pick with some thick grease on the end and try to fish it out, or maybe pull the hoses off each side and flush it out with a water hose
