Was the 335hp 5.7 the only engine available for the 2009 A22 non vandall edition?

I think you could special order the 383, easiest way to find out is to just look at the oil pan, the part number decal should have the engine size on it. It will either say 5.7 or 6.2

The specs show the 335 only for 2009, but Im not positive.

Ya im not sure either about the first year, thats why I recommended just checking the serial number tag on the engine, its right there on the side of the oil pan just in front of the sump, here is a pic of mine
