I have always used boaters insurance for my promo boats. It is about $500 a year and have not had any problems. Of course I have never filed a claim so I really have never had to see what the process would have been like if I needed to use the policy.

I tried to get a few insurance companies to offer up a group policy but never seemed to find the right agent that would follow thru.

If someone wants to take the lead on that we should try and get an insurance company to offer the axis site some type of package insurance deal for the site.

any takers?

Ed, when I went from A22 to A24, Boaters wanted almost double for another 2ft of boat. Price difference was $20k in boats though. Oh and bigger motor.

So today I called State Farm and Ski Safe to price out ins for the A22 I am picking up Tuesday. Holy smokes SS was almost $500 less per year.

$307/yr for 100k/300k policy. Boat insured to $65,000 trailer to $5000. $1k deductible.

I thought this pretty dang reasonable given the cost to replace for them if there is an issue. Now if only they would insure he new Yukon :0)

We need to find us an industry contact for insurance and get them on the messageboard. Then 'persuade' him/her to hook us up as a group. I'm sure there is some type of industry regulation that will not allow it but it would be worth checking.
