I decided to get a little creative too over the past couple of days. Sealed box with a lexan/plexi front. Going to re-do the plate/cover in front of the box when I get a chance, but itll work for now.

Some of you guys should really try a ported box. Properly built it can add 2 to 3 db.

It really depends on the design of the sub and application as to whether any gains would be seen with a ported box versus sealed.

I'm well aware. I have a room full of trophies from my stereo competition days.

Loving this thread for a winter project. I have the Exile sub...looks like 1.25cu/ft should do well with a sealed box. I hope I have enough room to keep my factory sub bezel.

I was just reading through this thread hoping to see how to remove that kick panel. I have a T22 and want to remove that panel to have a look at the heater core and all the rest of the wiring in there. I see only one screw at the top left holding it, I pulled out the sub woofer and there is a sealed plastic enclosure there with no access. is the panel glued or am I just missing something?

Bump! Does any one have pics or know how that kick panel under the helm comes loose on a 2014 T22. I want access to that area and can't seem to get it loose. I want to look at the heater core as well as run some new wires and any help removing that panel would be greatly appreciated!
