I'm not sure if this is already been covered but on my 2011 vandal the swivel rack on the driver side will not stay in place. with two boards on it it'll swing inside the boat and hit someone in the head if you're not careful. it seems as if the spring that holds the pin tight is loose or broken. has anybody taken this apart to change it or repair?

I know you can tighten them. I had that issue with my 2012. The dealer replaced them under warranty.

I've had that problem too. I solved it by cleaning some of the grease off the release pin and out of the holes that the pin locks into. Once I did that, I never had them release on their own again.

Mine still does this, I always forget to clean it until I'm already on the water.
