AJ, how often will you need to wax and use the sealant? Will you use the water spot remover each time taking it out of the water?

I wax 2 times a year. This is the first time I used a sealant of any kind. Even though my boat is in great shape, the sealant made the color deeper. I always use water spot remover everytime my boat touches water. If you leave water spots on the boat each time you take the boat out the sun is just going to bake them into the finish and make it very frustrating to remove with using products that will strip the wax off. Then you have to start all over with waxing the boat.

I second AJ's comment. If you look at Gnarly Water Spot Remover you will see that it does not strip wax and is fortified with polymers to help preserve the wax or sealant. Make sure whatever water spot remover you use offers a similar function or plan on waxing often.

Here is the latest vinyl care video I shot.

It was a Malibu seat that looked pretty dirty.
The surface was left clean and not greasy feeling with plenty of UV protection.

I do the same thing as AJ and use water spot remover each time the boat touches the water... like they say, if not, get ready to wax, wax, wax.

This is my first use of sealant too; made the white "glow". I am impressed thus far.

Ive been using 'Bling' the last two seasons. This season I am going to switch and try HULA.

What is a good kit that you recommend to start with. I usually have a daily clean for boat and vinyl and then a monthly wax and vinyl conditioner.
