Hi Everyone,

I'm interested in purchasing a new Axis but the local dealer, M2O Marine, has had multiple negative reviews online and I have also heard first hand of problems that other boat owners have had there. It sounds like if you purchase a new boat from them, they will not want to perform warranty services.

Has anyone had similar problems dealing with them?

Unfortunately they are the only Axis dealer in my area, but if I'm going to have problems getting any warranty work done, then I'm better off just getting a used boat...

Not San Diego, but not that far away is Paradise Watersport at
41085 Golden Gate Cir
Murrieta CA 92562
951-304-7222

Met Derek at the LA boat show in Feb 2014, got good info, got a great price, and really liked dealing with them.

I am from LA, but keep my 2014 Axis A22 in Parker AZ. This allowed them to deliver the boat to me in Parker which saved me from the roughly 10% CA sales tax. Instead we met their service manager at the Walmart in Parker where and we also met the local Notary Public they had hired. They had all the paperwork ready for signature and I paid no sales tax at that time. Instead I needed to pay Arizona Use Tax at roughly 2.5% when I registered the boat. Paradise charged me something like $500 for the service and saved me thousands!

Because the boat is so far away (Parker), I work with their Service manager who is in Lake Havasu City on a regular basis, and he was able to do my routine service at my storage facility and I did not even have to be there. I just mailed him a key and the password to get through the gates. First rate service and he went thru EVERYTHING and made sure the boat was perfect.

I could not be happier with how things have worked out. Good dealer, good support, good service (maintenance), good knowledge of how to save me thousands of dollars since I was registering and storing boat in AZ.

I have had no warranty claims. The only thing close was he found a tower speaker was a little loose and fixed it under warranty while he was out.

They can also let you test the boat at Lake Elsinore which is a few minutes from their shop.

Wow, I did not know they closed. Still it was a really good experience.

I have had some really good experiences with Greenhouse Marine in Norco before they were bought by Tilly's, but it was boards/accessories and not boats. But they seemed like a good dealership.

Yeah, my experience with paradise was great too. I am working with Tim at greenhouse/tillys on a new a22 and they have done a great job. I wasn't really planning on ordering a new boat. After talking to Tim, it was an easy decision.

I bought a A20 from VSMarine but I live in SD. When I had warranty issues the told me to contact the dealer that I purchased the boat from.
I have since had one minor warranty job done. They tightened up the fittings on my Freshwater Cooling system and hadn't even filled the reservoir when I got the boat back. Minor, I know but the devil is in the details. Like the rest of the guys on this site we take great pride and care of our rigs.

I would suggest that you talk to the owner of Carlsbad Lagoon Watersports. They bought two A22's this year. Also Contact the guys at Surfthirty.com and find out who they got their boats from and if they are happy with the service.
