I thought I've seen some with clarion in older models. Kind of sad that in 5 years they've never updated the stereo technology. That's asking for problems of this sort.

I am having the same issue..... we were on the boat this weekend and we had 4 iPhone's, 1 4S and 3 5S; all with the latest software. One of the 5S's with the latest OS7 worked perfect, the other 3 did not.

This is for sure annoying, of course mine and my wifes phone's do not work....

Need to figure this out...

Mine has been working on and off. Really random. I can play spotify for 2 hours then all of the sudden it will stop working. It works more often than it doesn't, but ya never know. I hooked up an aux cable as backup.

The only problem I've had with a 4s is when you plug it in the HU goes to album vs playlist. I have to switch it every time on the HU. Used to work flawlessly. Thinking about ditching the HU and going with a Wetsounds 420 replacement as I don't really use the HU for anything other than iphone hookup. I've heard the new 420 will have bluetooth included for your phone.
