I park my boat in a carport. The clearance is too low to leave the tower up, and the exposed sides make me use a cover to ensure no rain or stray cats get in my boat. Before I bought this boat I looked all over the internet for the answer to the following question:

Can you put down the tower on an A22 with the cover on?

Here is that answer.

Hope it helps someone else...

I put my cover over the tower when it's down, it doesn't fit perfectly but it still fits

Do you guys just let the support arms rest on your seat cushions?

Hey X_40oz and Amsugg, could you let me know how high your rigs are with the tower down. I have an A22 and this year I might be able to store it inside a low garage (80")??? Also, Amsugg I'm wondering how hard it was to take off the wide arms of the tower, and how you did that?

Thanks in advance!

x40oz - I have a wooden support that holds the tower off the seats and keeps the mirror mount from hitting the lower tower arm.. I also leave my mirror mount loose enough to move it but tight enough to keep its self in place, so I just push it down below the windshield. I posted picks in another thread of mirror arm deal, and also there was a thread about the tower supports aswell

flyguy - the side tower supports should have knobs just like the tower does, so once the two that hold the bottom are removed it comes right off. I estimate my garage height at 7ft I don't know what that is in inches but mine clears by about an inch
