Before I purchased or leased my last few cars, I checked Edmunds.com forums. For most models they have a "Prices Paid" thread where everyone shares what options they got and what price they paid, as well as brand insiders who provide details (such as current month money factors on leases, etc). You can get help there in finding a good dealer willing to negotiate, as well as get ballpark figures for what price you could try to haggle for.
Figured this would be a good idea for this forum as I'm currently looking at ordering a boat this fall/winter (haven't 100% decided against going used though).
What was the MSRP for your boat? What did you pay? What are the stats on the boat? What dealer did you purchase from and was it a good buying experience?

I'm not sure if this will work too well for several reasons:
1, As an Axis dealer what I sell boats for is pretty private, my customers don't really want to share this info (at least thats how it is here in the UK).
2, Price paid is subjective, as most people have a trade-in. The trade in hugely affects what price the customer gets their boat for. Someone may pop up on here and say "Hey I got a new boat for $40k!" when in fact, all they did was get terrible money for their trade-in and then a supposedly impossible deal on the new boat. Equally, financing arrangements skew the figure.
Used boats would be easier to do this on for comparison.

A22 new, stripped, around 60k give or take, id say loaded 70-80k, but its been 2 years since my purchase it could have changed by now, and as for which dealer, they have regions so I think you have to go to the dealer that's your regions dealer. now I know they can't force you to go anywhere, but I think they try to follow the rules

I just ordered a new A24 and from all my research I have seen new nicely loaded A22's for low 60's and A24's for low 70's. It really depends on the engine and number of options, the base boats are in the 50's but the options add up fast.

mcmiller,
Congrats!!! Where are you located? Post up some pics when you can and maybe some details on the boat.
