Hi guys

I think this is my first post, if it works! I have been reading a lot of posts, but haven't really seen an answer to my problem. I have a new black A22 and a white mooring buoy has left like a light white shadow on the gel coat where it rubbed up overnight. Any ideas how to best get rid of it?

You could find a buddy with a white boat and give the buoy to him ;-)

Probably will have to buff it out, then get some exile balls! Best bumpers I've ever used, mine is mostly red gel and never left a mark yet.

I've been buffing my arm off. I appreciate the humor though. Any other ideas?

Turtles brand polishing compound and a variable speed buffer. Dont stay in one area too long. It will not work with an obital buffer.

Use 3M Marine Finesse-it II with a polisher (like porter cable 7424). Then use a marine wax cleaner followed by a marine wax.
I've got a black hull and do this every fall due to some of the debris that can sometimes flow down the Trinity.

I'll second 3M Finesse It...the marine version with Griot's Garage 6" polisher. Then follow up with a cleaner wax or polymer sealer. I also have a black A22.
