I think this is going to be my system, let me know what you think.
4 rev 8s on tower with syn 2 amp 6 wetsounds cabins + sub with syn 4 Wetsounds 420 Eq
Will this setup sound good? Or do I need to make changes?

You need two syn 2s for tower, 1 per pair. I run a syn 4 to my 3 pairs of xs650s. I'd say you need a syn 6 for inboats and sub, depending on what sub your running.

I was going to go with a syn 4 for my tower speakers but I was told the syn 2 would put more power to each speaker. I also was thinking I might need a syn 6 but was also told that the syn 4 would work fine with my in boats and sub. The sub is factory mtx might change it out as well.

Syn 4s are ideal for one pair of rev 10s. Syn 2 is ideal for 1 pair of rev 8s. Maybe you could look at the SD series amps. That would let you use 2 amps instead of 3 or 4, but they're expensive! I'd run 2 syn 2s to the tower, syn 4 to inboats( left side cabins in parallel to Chp 1, right side cabins parallel to chn 2, left bow to 3 and right bow to chn 4). I like a ton of bass so I ran a 13w7 off a jl 1000/1. There's a lot other ways to do it tho, you'd just be sacrificing a ton of power running the inboats and sub off a syn 4. You'd have to bridge the sub to chn 3 and 4 because you can't just run 1 chn on lo pass. So running 6 speakers on chn 1 and 2 means you'd b running at like 1 ohms. Big no no IMO.

Bryce is correct. Go with 2 syn2's for tower and then a syn for sub/cabins. 1 SD2 should cover the tower, but you'll be on the lower side for watts. I'd do an SD4 for tower and then syn6 or SD6 for cabins if I were redoing my system.

I'm going to throw another is Idea at you for your tower. 2 rev10's off a bridged syn4. Also have you talked with Dave at earmark? He's the wetsounds guru.

I like the look of 4 speakers on the towers and rev 10s will be tight under my z5. I have only talked with my dealer and wetsounds.

I'd call Tim at wet sounds, he'll tell you exactly what would be best for 4 rev8's, but I do think if you run them at 2 ohm on the syn2 you will be close to the right amount of power, it's rated at 350 x 2 at 2 ohm and that's underrated, probably will make closer to 375-385 rms, which is close to what 2 rev8's can handle on each channel, but call Tim before you make any decision.
