U will have to have a 12 volt constant to the switch, which might already be there I think mine came that way. Also a ground if u want the light on the switch to work then just run ur acc wire to it and u will be good to go!

Awesome. Thanks!

All you have to do is turn the key really fast to the left. Turns the boat off and gets it to accessory without ever interrupting the stereo. Probably not the end solution you are looking for but it does the trick for us.

damn damn damn damn...so close, but not perfect.

I put the switched wire to the spare accessory switch in the boat. Works well to a point. Now, when you turn the boat off, the radio continues to play constantly and, more importantly to me, the ipod does not start playing and interrupt the pandora streaming music. Yay.

The problem is the when cranking the engine, the power must cut for a second because the radio does go off and the ipod begins playing.

I am hoping that a direct constant line to the battery will do it, but I am not 100% sure. If any of the car guys know, please post.
Thanks!

A wire ran directly to the battery will fix it. Bummer those acc switches aren't ran that way!

Thanks for the replies. I could put a fuse on one or both of the lines to ensure any spike will not cause a problem. I'm being really insane about this tiny issue. I already ran a headphone jack from the radio AUX which would do exactly what I need, but not offer charging lol. I get obsessive about some dumb things, but hey, that's the fun in having a toy like this...
