While installing a new prop, I notice some small cracks around the mount that holds the drive shaft. They do not seem very deep but a few are slightly raised enough that I can feel them with my fingers. Is this something to be concerned with?

I noticed them when i was removing my original prop to replace it with the new 1235 i just purchased.

That could have happened when you damaged your original prop, probably just minor flex of the fiberglass, most likely just cracks in the gelcoat, I wouldn't worry too much unless they started spreading out more
