Has anyone done it, or know how? I looked around and didn't see a drain plug for either.

Do you have a documentation package for your boat? The Indmar manual will cover the process - http://www.indmar.com/service-support/manuals.aspx and you may have a specific transmission manual. Do you know which transmission you have? If not, post a pic and we can identify it for you.

The manuals will have a fill capacity for the tranmission but you should always check the fluid level rather than just adding the "correct" amount. An oil pump is also a big help to extract the fluid.

You should use a suction pump like the one used for changing the engine oil, just do it through the dipstick hole, they hold around a quart each but always put it in the water and double check both after running for a few minutes
