2315 info.... Empty top speed was a GPS calibrated 39.6 mph. I threw everything I had at it and it just pulled like a boss! I had all tanks full, both 900s in the rear full, the front "950" shroom sac full, a 400 on top of the in the front, a 750 sideways in the center floor, and the wedge down. All said and done, roughly 5k in ballast and wedge. The prop and engine did not struggle one bit!

I would assume the RPM's would be a few hundred higher than the 1235 which is also higher than the OJ 5 blade.

Sdukes: thanks man, I like the wake a little more peaky so next time ill have a picture with the wedge down and see how clean it still is.

Took a quick cruise around the lake Wednesday before the snow hit Arkansas. With empty wight the 2079 had a top speed of 37.8 (plus/minus 1 mph) with the rpms running at 5700 and thats as hard as I wanted to push it. Wake board speed 22.4 with the wedge down and no sacks filled was at 3300 thats all I had time for this week. Hopefully as soon as this snow gets out of AR and warms back up I can post some more updates.

For those that have looked at the 2079 and 2315, what have been the factors in choosing one over the other?

I purchased the 2315 at the beginning of the season last year after calling and talking to ACME. I had the stock motor in my 2012 A22 and the same weight, about 5k in ballast and the wedge down in the bigger wake setting. There has been a couple of times that it struggled to plane but it was because there was too much weight in the back. The boat will just plow but, if you have plenty of weight in the front in planes very quickly!! I love this prop. Nautique is putting it on all the Gs because it has so much torque. Got my new 2013 A22 this year and put that prop on before I even put it in the water for the first time!!

I called Acme and asked about the 2079 and 2315. The only difference is the width of the prop. Same specs everywhere else. They said if you have the clearance, go with the 2315.

2313 is a viable option too. The only difference between it and the 2315 is the cup. Jim with ACME said the different cup will help keep the RPM's down.
